Miss Nepal 2026 Officially Launched: Key Updates from the Press Meet

The journey to the country's most prestigious crown has officially begun. The Hidden Treasure successfully hosted the official Miss Nepal 2026 Press Meet at The Plaza in Pulchowk, Kathmandu.

The event marked the grand unveiling of this year's pageant, introducing key updates, new partnerships, and a revised timeline for aspiring contestants looking to make their mark on both national and global stages.

Core Updates and Partnerships

This year, The Hidden Treasure introduces major updates to the titles and structural backing of the pageant:

Three Major Titles: Miss Nepal 2026 will crown three ultimate winners to represent the nation globally: Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Cosmo, and Miss Nepal International.
New Title Sponsor: Kajaria Ramesh Tiles Limited has come on board as the main Title Sponsor for this edition.
Returning Partners: Shree Natraj Jewellers continues its partnership as the Co-Sponsor and Official Crown Partner.

The organization also celebrated the achievements of the 2025 reigning queens—Urusha Bhandari (Miss International), Sony Ghale (Miss Earth Talent Winner), and Deepshikha Nepal (Miss Cosmo)—who recently returned home after representing Nepal on the global stage.

Eligibility and Registration Criteria

Applications are officially open to eligible young women residing in Nepal or abroad. Registration is completely free.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
Minimum Height: 5 feet 3 inches (5'3")
Nationality: Must hold Nepali citizenship. Members of the Nepali diaspora living abroad are eligible to apply using an NRN Card issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Nationwide Auditions and Activation Schedule

To find the next generation of leaders, the Miss Nepal search will conduct regional auditions and college campaigns across the country:

Regional Audition Hubs: Birtamod, Itahari, Butwal, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Janakpur.
College Activations: An activation campaign will be conducted across 10 prominent colleges within Kathmandu.
Final Audition: Kathmandu will host the final audition round on June 9, 2026 (Jestha 26, 2083).

Selected contestants from these rounds will undergo intensive training and grooming sessions to prepare for the main stage.

The Grand Finale Timeline

The grand coronation event will feature a showcase of beauty, purpose, talent, and intellect.
